Namesakes

The Erin comes from a good friend that lived in my dorm….  She'll be excited to hear that her namesake has come up… XD  Deanna is actually named after her great-grandmother, and her middle name, Lily, comes from her godmother's grandma's name (and it was also to be her first daughter's name, who she sadly lost 5 months into her pregnancy.)

My brother is named Marcus after Marc Antony, and I got my name because it was Ukrainian, to match my last name…though I like to believe that it's from A Midsummer Night's Dream, but because of how my mom reacted when I brought it up, I know that isn't right.  And both my brother and I have our parent's middle names. Allen and Louise.  They wanted to start a tradition….  Well, at least I kept Deanna's middle initial as an L, right?

Lovely rambling…sorry….  I'm trying to keep my mind off of ickiness while polishing off a mango sorbet….
