Thinking of joining? Here’s what you need to know…
- We’re a writing site! The WoT RP is a creative writing community, meaning that we focus on quality fiction. We’re not a gaming site. Be prepared to do some serious, and really fun, writing.
- All about the site. Before thinking about submitting a join form, you should be well versed in the following pages.
- All about the Wheel of Time. Our writing community is based around Robert Jordan’s fantasy series, the Wheel of Time. To join, you must have read several of the books, otherwise you’ll have no idea what’s going on at all. You should also be advised that if you have not read the entire series, you will learn certain spoilers by joining. Sorry!
- One character at a time. After your first character is approved, you may create another character in two weeks. After that, you may not create another character until one of your other characters has been raised to mid-rank. So think carefully about which characters you want to write for!
- Be original. Any join forms that appear to be unoriginal or plagiarized, either from the Wheel of Time series, another book series, or from another character on this site, will be discarded immediately, and you may not get to apply for another character.
- Returning member? Great to see you again! Unfortunately, we were only accepting the reinstatement of old characters up until June 30, 2010. You can bring back old characters, but unfortunately they will have to begin at the bottom once again. You may, however, be able to create an entirely new character at whatever rank you held before the site closed. Email Marla to inquire, as it is on a case-by-case basis.

- What’s next. After submitting your form, you should receive an automated confirmation of your join form. We will get back to you about your membership status within 1-2 weeks, at which point you’ll be given a log-in for the boards and more info about getting started at the WoT RP. * Note: Sometimes your email’s spam filter knocks out the email letting you know your log-in information. Just to be safe, check your spam filter and add the email wordpress@wheeloftimerp.net to your contacts list!
