Warders are also known as Gaidin, which means Brother to Battle in the Old Tongue. They have been deemed worthy both by the White Tower’s standards, and have been chosen by an Aes Sedai. They can boast all the marks of merit that a Trainee desires, as well as the envied fancloth cloak that they only receive upon being bonded.
